UK ATHLETICS CONFIRMS SELECTION FOR 2025 EUROPEAN 10,000M CUP

UK Athletics has today confirmed the selection of one athlete to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the 2025 European 10,000m Cup, taking place in Pacé, France, on Friday 24 May.

Alfie Manthorpe (Hallamshire) earns his place in the men’s race following a strong start to his 2025 season, which has seen him hit impressive times over the equivalent road distance. Manthorpe will make his debut at the event as he continues his progression on the international stage.

The European 10,000m Cup is an important fixture in the endurance calendar, providing a high-quality racing opportunity and contributing valuable points toward global rankings.
