Cyclists can make use of the London Cycleways, extending from central London (Aldgate) to Stratford City. More information can be found here
Cyclists taking advantage of the London Cycle Hire Scheme (Santander Bikes) can access an extensive network of docking points for London’s cycle hire scheme, making it easier to access the Park on two wheels.

Travelling by car
We’d advise all spectators to take advantage of the extensive public transport network servicing London Stadium, with access roads disrupted during the event.
There will also be road closures active around the venue during the event to allow spectators to arrive and leave the venue quickly and safely.
Taxi’s
For spectators wishing to travel via taxi, black cabs are available from the taxi rank in Montfichet Road, situated outside the Northern ticket hall at Stratford Station (near Starbucks on the Lower Ground Floor).
For your return journey, black cabs can be found at a temporary rank at Pool Street.
Please note that roads are subject to closure on event days, and we’d recommend all spectators plan journeys accordingly.
Car Parking
No spectator parking is available at the stadium.
The closest car parks to London Stadium are situated in Stratford International Station and Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre

Safety & Security
Your safety is our number one priority and we have a number of security measures in place to ensure you have the safest and most enjoyable experience.
Please minimise the amount of possessions you bring with you to the event. Our security provisions for the event will include searching so please allow extra time to get to the venue, as a full bag and body search will be in operation.
There will be a police and security presence at the event as we work closely with our agencies and partners to ensure the safety and security of those attending.
We remind you to remain vigilant at all times and report anything which causes you any concern immediately to the nearest member of staff.
Bag Policy
Please travel light; large bags or luggage will not be permitted into the venue.
If you need to bring a bag with you please ensure that it is small enough to store under your seat. Small handbags and rucksacks no larger than A4 (30cm x 20cm x 20cm) will be allowed. There are no bag or luggage storage areas at the stadium.
Our security provision for the event will include searching so please allow extra time to get to the venue as a full bag and body search will be in operation.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are not allowed into the Stadium in the interests of Health and Safety including but not limited to:
Large bags, alcoholic beverages, aerosol cans, weapons, ammunition, firearms, explosives, pyrotechnics, gas cylinders, glass including perfume bottles, cans, knives, horns, air horns, vuvuzelas, whistles, drums, musical instruments, fireworks, flares, large flags/banners, offensive messaging, helium balloons, selfie sticks, smoke grenades, drones, laser devices, stobe lights, illegal drugs, balls, frisbees, bicycles, rollarblades, skates,scooters, segways or any other item which in our reasonable opinion may cause danger or disruption to the event or to any other person (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes).
Any person in possession of such items will be refused entry to the Stadium. Any article that might be used as a weapon is deemed to be offensive or abusive, or compromise public safety, will be confiscated and reported to the Police.
Spectator Etiquette
Please be respectful of those around you by ensuring that you do not obstruct their view or cause any unnecessary inconvenience.
Please keep noise to a minimum during track starts and respect the athletes at all times.
Cameras and Binoculars Policy
We understand that amateur photography is part of the enjoyment when attending live athletics. We know we have the world’s most passionate and knowledgeable spectators, and as such we want them to be able to take home as many memories of top class athletics as possible.
Cameras (and accompanying camera bags no bigger than 30cm x 20cm) with a maximum lens length of six inches are permitted – if you have a lens length that extends beyond six inches we politely request that you keep to this length as a maximum so to not block the view of those next to or behind you in the stadium. Failure to do so will result in potential ejection from the event.
Video camcorders and audio equipment are not allowed into the venue. iPads, binoculars and accompanying carry cases are permitted.
Professional camera equipment (including tripods and monopods) can only be used by accredited photographers and are not permitted in spectator areas.
Any pictures, images or footage must be for personal use only.
Food and Drink
Food and drink kiosks will be open in and around the stadium carrying a range of options including burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, bagels, salads, hot & cold drinks and meal deal options to suit every taste. For those with a sweet tooth, popcorn, sweets and ice cream will also be available.
There are a number of bars around the stadium serving a range of drinks including non-alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
There are also water fountains located on the outer concourse of the stadium. Water fountains can be found in between blocks 103 – 104 and between blocks 112 – 113. They can also be found near block 116, block 120, block 125, block 127, block 133, block 137, block 143, block 150, block 156, block 201 and block 215. The London Stadium is a cashless venue with card payments only accepted at all food and drink kiosks. Please note that American Express cards are not accepted.
A small amount of cold food for personal consumption can be brought into the stadium. Sealed plastic bottles of water or juice 500ml or under are permitted. No glass bottles, cans, flasks or picnic hampers are allowed including metal cutlery. Refillable water bottles including hard sided bottles are permitted with a maximum capacity of 500ml.
Any items brought into the stadium should be contained within the permitted A4 bag size (30cm x 20cm x 20cm)
Strictly no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the venue.
Cash Machine
There is no cash machine at the London Stadium. The nearest cash point can be found at the podium cafe at the base of the ArcelorMittal Orbit.
Crowd Movement
A comprehensive road closure process is in place around major events in order to prevent conflict between vehicles and people. The London Stadium operates a managed exit/egress crowd management system during such times. The managed egress involves hold-and-release points to manage crowd flows. Spectators are encouraged post event to move towards the main transport hubs at Stratford stations.
Generally, the egress (exit) of the crowd is complete within 90 minutes. A normal walk to Stratford Station would take 20 -25 minutes but may take up to 90 minutes following the event. Stadium staff will be on duty at all hold-and-release points to provide reassurance and guidance, using Stop and Go signs. These are in place to ensure spectator safety and security. We appreciate your co-operation.
Baby Changing Facilities and Buggy Storage
Baby Changing Facilities are available on each level of the stadium. Simply ask one of the stewarding team for the closest baby change location to your seat.
Baby Changing Facilities can be found near Block 126, Block 134, Block 144 and Block 152.
Buggy’s can be stored inside the stadium in the dedicated buggy stores near block 131, block 136 and block 155.
First Aid Rooms
First aid rooms are available inside the London Stadium with rooms near block 102, block 118, block 132 and block 149.
Lost and Found
Please report all lost and found property to the nearest steward or member of staff at the stadium. If you are no longer at the venue, please email info@london-stadium.com
Any found items will be kept for two weeks, before being discarded.
London Stadium is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please be aware that strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, special effects and fireworks may be used at this event.

Accessible seating is available on each level at the London Stadium, including wheelchair and companion positions or limited mobility seating with few or no steps. These seats need to be booked in advance to ensure that your requirements can be accommodated.

Proof of eligibility/disability must be provided before the event, you will be contacted by Ticketmaster no later than 72 hours after your order. Tickets may be cancelled if misuse is suspected/found

The following accessible features are available to spectators travelling to the London Stadium via the Jubilee & Central Lines, Queen Elizabeth, DLR and London Overground, Greater Anglia, C2C to Stratford and South Eastern and DLR to Stratford International stations:
London Stadium is also served by TFL Rail, National Rail services to Stratford Station, and high speed trains through Stratford International.
Road Closures
There will be a number of road closures in operation around the stadium from three hours before doors and will remain in place for approximately 2 hours following the end of the event.
Roads that will be affected are:
Westfield Avenue (International Way (John Lewis) to Montfichet Road
Montfitchet Road
Pool Street
Carpenters Road (East Bank to carpenters Arms)
Sidings Street
Marshgate Lane (adjacent to the Stadium)
Please note, car park A, B and C at Westfield Stratford City remains accessible throughout.
Accessible Shuttle Bus Service
For those who require it, an Accessible Shuttle Bus Service will run from next to Platform 13, which is served directly by the Jubilee Line, at Stratford Station to the Stadium. There is step-free access from all lines to Platform 13. This is a free service.
A full timetable will be available closer to the event.
The Accessible Shuttle Bus will drop off and pick up at the London Stadium on Marshgate Lane to Bridge 3 (North West side of Stadium).
Please be aware that demand for the return shuttle bus service immediately after the event will be high and at this time there may be a delay in boarding a shuttle service. At busy times the service may be limited to one companion per wheelchair user. Immediately after the event has finished a vehicle curfew is put in place by the stadium safety officer, this means the shuttle buses may not be able to operate for around 45 minutes until is it safe to do so.

Blue Badge Parking
Blue Badge Parking at the London Stadium is now SOLD OUT.
The exact location, directions and opening hours of the Blue Badge parking area will be confirmed in due course. Customers who have purchased Blue Badge parking will be contacted closer to the event, to gather details such as car registration number, etc. Please add parking@london-stadium.com to your safe senders list.
Street parking is available for Blue Badge holders either in dedicated blue badge bays, or a vacant residents’ bay. For more information regarding street parking in this area, visit https://www.newham.gov.uk/

Accessible Entry
We have one dedicated accessibility lane on each bridge for access customers, their companion and family to use. This is where bag and body checks will take place.
You are welcome to use any bridge or turnstile irrespective of the one on your ticket. Stewards will be able to direct you to the shortest route.
Talk to a member of staff at the stadium entrance if you are unable to wait in a queue for a period of time, they will organise priority entry for you as soon as the gates open.
Numerous rest areas and benches are located across the stadium island and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Access to the Box Office
The Box Office can be accessed by Bridge 5 and is located near Entrance E. Accessible height ticket counters are available and include induction loops to support hearing aid users.
Wheelchair Assistance
The Accessibility Team has a fleet of wheelchairs available should customers need to use them to get to their seats. You can collect a wheelchair from either Bridge 3 shuttle bus drop off point or near to the London Aquatics Centre.
A member of staff will accompany you to your seat, once seated they will then return the wheelchair back to the relevant collection point so it can be used for the next customer.
When exiting, customers wishing to use this service can request a wheelchair pickup by texting 07701 231 035 with your name & location. They will take you back to the Accessible Shuttle Bus at Bridge 3 or Blue Badge parking.
Please note: this service is to simply assist you from A to B, it is not a wheelchair hire service where you are allocated the chair for the duration of the event.
Guide and Assistance Dogs
Guide and Certified Assistance Dogs are very welcome at the stadium and can stay in wheelchair bays.
All Guide and Assistance Dogs must wear a harness or jacket that clearly identifies them as a working animal.
There is a designated spending area close to Bridge 4.
Kindly note that any assistance dogs must remain with their owner at all times.
Accessible Toilets
All of London Stadium’s accessible toilets are unisex, and available on all levels close to wheelchair bays. These all require a radar key for entry.
Some staff will have RADAR keys but if you have your own key please make sure you bring it with you.
Changing Places Toilets
There is a Changing Places toilet located near Block 149 (north of the stadium) and near Block 125 (south of the stadium) which includes a height-adjustable adult sized changing bench, a ceiling hoist system to lift people between wheelchairs and the toilet/changing bench and room for up to two personal assistants.
This facility meets the needs of people with multiple and complex disabilities who have one or more personal assistant with, and assisting them, by providing extra features and more space.
Please note compatible slings for the ceiling hoist system are not provided. Customers are asked to bring their own.
For access please speak to one of the stewarding team or event ticketing team within the venue.
Quiet Space
A quiet space is available for this event for any customers who are overwhelmed by the stadium environment.
Please note, this area may not have a view of the event and does not have any sensory items available and are not staffed.

Medication
Spectators are advised to bring medication in its original packaging and only enough for use during the event. All spectators are subject to bag searches and any unmarked/unpackaged medication will be confiscated.
Portable oxygen cylinders are permitted for medical use only.
There is no refrigeration on site so please make sure that you package your medication appropriately for the duration of your visit; we suggest bringing a small cool bag for any medication which needs to be kept cool.
Special Effects and Entertainment
Please be aware that pyrotechnics, strobe lighting, special effects and fireworks may be used at this event.
A live band may also be situated inside the stadium at the south end of the stadium.
