Statement: Start of Microplus 2025 UK Athletics Indoor Championships delayed

The start of the 2025 Microplus UK Athletics Indoor Championships has been delayed following an incident that required the evacuation of the Utilita Arena in Birmingham this morning, Saturday 22 February.

Whilst re-entry to the venue has commenced, it has been agreed to delay the start of the competition until 12.55 with a 1.5 hour delay to all events on the published timetable.

There is currently no expected delay to Sunday’s timetable.
