HALF MARATHON ATHLETES JOINING GB & NI FOR 2025 EUROPEAN ROAD RUNNING CHAMPS ANNOUNCED

GB & NI have confirmed the selections for the Half Marathon races at the 2025 European Road Running Championships 12-13 April 2025 in Leuven, Belgium.

The inaugural event which will combine elite race championships with mass participation opportunities, also comprises a 10km and marathon race.

In December UKA announced the Marathon Athletes competing in April. Joining those three in the team are Tom Anderson (Andrew Hobdell, Bingley) and Ben Connor (self coached, Derby).

Four women are also selected; Clara Evans-Graham (Chris Jones, Pontypridd), Hannah Irwin (James Thie, Cambridge & Coleridge), Jenny Nesbitt (Dave Long, Pontypridd) and Natasha Phillips (Vince Wilson, Dundee Hawkhill).

The selection for the 10km team for GB & NI will be week commencing 24 March 2025 and will complete the overall team headed for Leuven.
