Amelia Strickler (coach: Steve Manz) has been called up to represent the British team at the European Throwing Cup after the withdrawals of Rachel Wallader (Richard Woodhall) and Sophie McKinna (Mike Winch) due to illness.

Strickler, who competed at the European Team Championships and World University Games last year, was third at the SPAR British Athletics Indoor Championships last month, with a best of 16.67m so far in 2018.
