LANG CALLED-UP TO WORLD MOUNTAIN AND TRAIL RUNNING CHAMPS

There have been a couple of updates to the Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad heading to Thailand for the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (4-6 November) next week.

Naomi Lang (coach: Lewis Walker, club: Carnethy HRC) has earned a late call-up to the senior women’s up & down race following the withdrawal of Phillipa Williams due to an arm injury.

As a result of the withdrawal, Kate Avery (Shildon) will now also race in the uphill only and up & down race, as she doubles up in Chiang Mai.

Unfortunately, Tom Evans has also withdrawn from the men’s 80km trail race.
