EXCITING LINE UP FOR LONDON ATHLETICS MEET WITH EXTRA EVENTS CONFIRMED

Further events for the London Athletics Meet on Saturday 20 July have been confirmed by the Wanda Diamond League, adding even more excitement and anticipation for the biggest one-day athletics spectacular of the year.

In addition to the 14 official Wanda Diamond League events announced back in December, a further six have now been confirmed ‒ a men’s and women’s international 4x100m relay and national 100m and 400m races. Next month, the para athletics event line up will also be confirmed with London set to provide an ideal backdrop to paralympic preparations.

That means there will now be more than 20 star-studded events crammed into an action-packed schedule as the London Stadium gets ready to welcome back the world’s best athletes after a record-breaking sell-out in 2023.

The 2024 edition of the London Athletics Meet is even more special as it acts as the last major competition before the Olympic Games and a perfect opportunity to wish the world’s best athletes good luck for Paris 2024.

The confirmed events for the London Athletics Meet on Saturday 20 July so far are:

Women’s: 200m, 400m, 800m, 400m hurdles, pole vault, long jump, javelin (all Wanda Diamond League), 4x100m relay (international), 100m, 400 (national).

Men’s: 100m, 400m, Emsley Carr Mile, 3000m, 400m hurdles, high jump, shot put (all Wanda Diamond League), 4x100m relay (international, 100m, 400m (national).
