Cameron Corbishley (Andi Drake, Medway and Maidstone) finished 32^nd in the men’s Marathon Race Walk this morning in 3:21.38. SB at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships Brasília 26

Corbishley, who came into the Championships ranked 46^th, faced tough weather conditions and a four-minute penalty at 24km.

However, he was still able to finish the race and cross the line, improving on his 45^th placing at the last World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships in the process.

Japan’s Hayato Katsuki won the men’s Marathon Race Walk in 3:04:58 CR, while David Hurtado (ECU) and Kazuya Iwai (JPN) rounded out the podium positions.
