CORBISHLEY 32ND AT 2026 WORLD ATHLETICS RACE WALKING TEAM CHAMPS

Cameron Corbishley (Andi Drake, Medway and Maidstone) finished 32nd in the men’s Marathon Race Walk this morning in 3:21.38. SB at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships Brasília 26

Corbishley, who came into the Championships ranked 46th, faced tough weather conditions and a four-minute penalty at 24km.

However, he was still able to finish the race and cross the line, improving on his 45th placing at the last World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships in the process.

Japan’s Hayato Katsuki won the men’s Marathon Race Walk in 3:04:58 CR, while David Hurtado (ECU) and Kazuya Iwai (JPN) rounded out the podium positions.
