There are just 50 days to go until the UK Athletics Championships return to Manchester.

Taking place on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th July at the Manchester Regional Arena for the fourth consecutive year, over 800 athletes will go head-to-head for both national titles and selection for the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, which takes place in less than 100 days’ time!

Tickets start from just £15.00 for adults, £12.00 for seniors/students and £8.00 for juniors.

Olympic bronze medallist Holly Bradshaw (coach: Scott Simpson) is among the names to have accepted their invitation to the Championships in July. The Blackburn Harrier is a 10-time outdoor UK champion and will be targeting title number 11 at the 2023 edition.

European Indoor champion Jazmin Sawyers (Aston Moore, City of Stoke) is set to line up for the women’s long jump, while Tokyo Olympian Ben Williams (Aston Moore, City of Stoke) leads the entries in the men’s triple jump.

The men’s and women’s shot put events will be headlined by multiple UK champions Scott Lincoln (Paul Wilson, City of York) and Sophie McKinna (Mark Edwards, Great Yarmouth) who have both won national titles at the Arena in recent times.

Also in the throws, Nick Percy (Zane Duquemin, Shaftesbury Barnet), who was fifth for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games last summer, is in the men’s discus line-up.

Morgan Lake (Robbie Grabarz, Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow) and Laura Zialor (Jade Surman, Marshall Milton Keynes) will go head-to-head in the women’s high jump, while 2021 European Indoor 3000m gold medallist Amy-Eloise Markovc (Rob Denmark, Wakefield) takes on the 5000m, and world relay bronze medallist Nicole Yeargin (Boogie Johnson, Pitreavie) has accepted her invitation in the 400m.
