Müller Grand Prix Gateshead
Gateshead International Stadium - Gateshead
Sunday 16th August 2020
One-day world-class athletics returns to the North-East with a bang as the Muller Grand Prix heads to the historic Gateshead International Stadium for both 2020 and 2021.
Taking place on Sunday 16 August, seven days after the conclusion of the athletics programme at the 2020 Olympic Games, the Muller Grand Prix Gateshead will see freshly-crowned Olympic medallists go head to head across a quick-fire session of world-class athletics.
A stadium that is no stranger to heroic feats having seen stunning world records by home-town Brendan Foster over 3000m in 1974 and Jamaica’s 100m sprint star Asafa Powell in 2006 among others, fans will once again hope to see special performances when the best in the world head to Gateshead in August 2020.
