UK Athletics can confirm the Novuna Great Britain and Northern Ireland (GB & NI) team selection for the World Athletics Championships, Tokyo, Japan (13-21 September) following the finalisation of the World Rankings positions.

A team of 64 athletes will now travel to the Championships with 12 athletes achieving the required Road to Tokyo World Rankings Position.

Paula Dunn, Performance Director at UK Athletics, said:

“We are delighted to confirm the final Novuna GB & NI team for Tokyo following the conclusion of the world rankings. Congratulations to all the athletes who have confirmed their places. This is a talented group of proven medallists and emerging stars, and I am confident they will demonstrate the strength of British athletes against global competition.”
