Ranked as the best indoor athletics meeting in the world, the Müller Indoor Grand Prix Glasgow returns to Scotland on Sunday 25 February as the indoor season reaches its peak.

Some of the best athletes in the world, including a host of stars from the 2017 IAAF World Championships, will compete at the glittering Emirates Arena, offering the British public to opportunity to see the world’s best track and field athletes on show in an intimate indoor setting.

Held in Birmingham as the meeting continues to alternate in location through to 2019, 2017’s edition saw Laura Muir and Sir Mo Farah claim popular victories as the pair blitzed to British records over 1000m and 5000m respectively, while Elaine Thompson produced sprint magic with a time of 6.98 over 60m to take maximum IAAF World Indoor Tour points.

In the field, an impressive clearance at 2.31m saw the USA’s Erik Kynard take the spoils in the men’s high jump, with British indoor record holder Lorraine Ugen continuing her unbeaten streak on the boards with victory in the women’s long jump courtesy of a 6.72m best.

With the IAAF World Indoor Championships taking place just one week after Glasgow at Birmingham’s Arena Birmingham, the Müller Indoor Grand Prix will serve as the final preparation for the best athletes from Britain and across the world before they bid for global glory.
