Travel Information

The Utilita Arena is at the heart of Birmingham City Centre giving you a variety of transport options to get to the arena.

We recommend that you plan your journey carefully and allow plenty of time to arrive on site.

The arena is situated within Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone. For further information see below.

Travelling by bus

Buses run past the arena all day long, visit Transport for West Midlands for details.

If you’ve travelled by coach to Digbeth coach station, the arena is a 30 minute walk or short taxi ride.

Travelling by train

The arena is approximately a 20 – 30 minute walk from Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, Snow Hill and Five Ways train stations.

Alternatively, each station is only few minutes away by Taxi.

Travelling by car

The arena is situated in the heart of Birmingham City Centre; therefore you can travel from any direction by using the following motorways – M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.

If you’re using a Sat Nav, the postcode is B1 2AA.

Spectators arriving by car will need to be aware of Birmingham’s Clean Air Zone. The arena and associated car parks are located within the Clean Air Zone. Daily charges apply to vehicles entering the zone which do not comply with the zone’s criteria. Car Parking

The arena has on-site car park spaces across three car parks – North, South and West. The West car park is for pre-booked customers only.

The South and West car parks are serviced by lifts to each floor. Customers who have mobility needs should park on any odd level of the car park as the lifts will give access to the accessible entrances.

South Car Park (off Sheepcote Street) – Level 11 has blue badge parking bays and also gives direct access to the accessible entrance – Entrance D.

Other car parks are available nearby, the closest being in Brindley place, which you can access via Sheepcote Street or Cambridge Street, just a quick walk from the Arena.
