British Athletics will once again welcome spectators back to the Gateshead International Stadium for the Müller British Grand Prix on the evening of Tuesday 13th July 2021.
In light of the delay to step 4 of the UK Government roadmap, the decision has been made to have a reduced capacity with social distancing in place for this event. We are continuing to work with key stakeholder, including Gateshead Council, the Director of Public Health and the Gateshead Safety Advisory Group to ensure the health and safety of those attending is our priority.
Up to 2,000 tickets will be available to buy next week and you will have exclusive priority access to purchase before general sale. We expect demand for tickets to be high, due to the event being the last Wanda Diamond League before the athletes head off to Tokyo for the Olympic Games.
Tickets will go on sale from 12pm on Wednesday 23rd June 2021. A priority window will open from 10am to those who entered the Müller Anniversary Games 2021 ballot, 2020 Müller Anniversary Games purchasers and those who registered there interest in the event via the sign up form.
Ticket pricing will be simple and sold at one price, (£37.10 for adults and £19.08 for juniors aged 16 years and under). Fans will be able to select their preferred seating block at the point of purchase. Seats will be socially distanced and sold in singles or pairs only.
All spectators who attend are required to read and sign up to a Code of Conduct, committing to helping us keep everyone safe at the event. Face coverings will be mandatory within the stadium and social distancing will be required at all times.
