UKA ATHLETES COMMISSION ELECTIONS ARE OPEN
The voting process to elect seven members to join the UKA Athletes’ Commission is now open and will close at midnight on Wednesday 23 October 2019.
All athletes that have competed for Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the last six years are eligible to vote and have been emailed about the voting process, where they will nominate their top three candidates.
The 16 candidates are;

- Holly Bradshaw
- Ashley Bryant
- Tom Bosworth
- Dan Greaves
- Jack Green
- Dai Greene
- Andy Heyes
- Abigail Irozuru
- Stephen Miller
- Josephine Moultrie
- Naomi Ogbeta
- Anyika Onuora
- Graham Rush
- Jamie Webb
- Richard Whitehead

The Commission is committed to diversity and inclusion to reflect the sport, therefore it aims to correspond with the composition which is laid out in the Terms of Reference, here.
The seven candidates with the highest number of votes that enable this composition will be elected to the Commission. The successfully elected candidates will join the current members: Hannah England (Chair), John Pares (Vice-Chair), Richard Yates (Vice-Chair), Abdul Buhari, Vanessa Wallace. Results will be announced during the week commencing 28 October 2019
Since its formation in 2017, the initial cohort of 12 members and four ex-officio members abide by the principle of striving to promote a healthy and productive relationship between the athletes the Commission represent, and the National Governing Body.
