Event Summary

The 2010 athletics season kicks off in Glasgow on Saturday 30 January with the Aviva International Match at the city’s Kelvin Hall. The exciting team versus team format sees athletes from around the globe battle it out for points and glory.

Last season’s event saw the Commonwealth team narrowly beat Great Britain and Northern Ireland, despite emphatic wins for Marilyn Okoro and Craig Pickering in the 800m and 60m respectively.  Pick your team and cheer them on to victory!

BY CAR - Public transport is encouraged as parking will be very limited.

BY UNDERGROUND - Travel to Kelvin Hall Underground Station. Turn left on exit onto Dumbarton Road. Kelvin Hall ISA is a 5 minute walk.

BY TRAIN - To Partick Station. Turn Right on exit to Dumbarton road. Kelvin Hall ISA is a 10 minute walk.

BY BUS - The Following buses pass Kelvin Hall ISA. First: 9,16,18,62,64.

All parties requiring access to competition zones and restricted areas must display photo accreditation at all times whilst at the competition venue.

Accreditation for athletes will be automatically produced in-line with the event start list and can be collected as detailed below.
