London 2012 Olympian Alex Smith (coach: Shane Peacock) extended his lead at the top of the men's hammer rankings thanks to a winning throw of 73.07.

IAAF Race Walk Challenge, Podebrady, Czech Republic, April 12

Tom Bosworth (Andi Drake) set a massive personal best of 82.20 to finish 10th in the 20km walk and go third on the British all time list. In the same race, Jamie Higgins (Drake) also set a personal best of 86.02 good for 22nd.

Kimberley Reed (Scott Reed) went top of the Power of Ten under-20 women's hammer rankings with a personal best throw of 60.88m to finish second, bettering the IAAF World Junior Championship qualifying mark in the process.
