Yamile Aldama (coach: Frank Attoh) has made a welcome return to training following an injury disrupted 2013 season.
The 2012 world indoor triple jump champion is determined to start afresh in 2014 - in time for the British Athletics Indoor Series.
“I’m feeling good,” she revealed.
“I began my winter training just over a week ago after taking the last two and half months off. I’ve had injury problems over the last 18 months but that’s all behind me now.
“My coach Frank has been pushing me hard and to my surprise I’m not aching, I usually ache when I start back training.
“At the moment my target is to be ready for the indoor season and compete at one or more of the British Athletics Indoor Series."
