The stars of British athletics will return to Sheffield for the British Athletics European Trials & UK Championships on 9-10 February 2013 in an action-packed weekend of athletics.

British athletes will be fighting for a place at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, and the meet is set to be a weekend of exhilarating action, not to be missed.

There was a rapturous welcome for hometown hero Jessica Ennis in 2012 as she set the capacity crowd alight with a world-class display in the high jump, before breaking the stadium record in the 60m hurdles.

Holly Bleasdale was another British athlete who shone, breaking her own stadium record to clear 4.70m in the women’s pole vault. The veterans didn’t disappoint in South Yorkshire either, with 33 year old Dwain Chambers and 39 year old Yamile Aldama victorious in the 60m and triple jump respectively.
